It was an eye-catching, attention-grabbing, nerdgasm-inducing episode of Fringe today and it all happened within thirty seconds. The chilling sound of the piano starts and I am done. There are only a few TV show introduction sequences that really have struck a chord with me, and for some reason they all happen to be on FOX. Most recent of course is Fringe, but before I jumped into that, here are some intro sequences that need to be appreciated!

Fringe (HD Version)
Not that you would care, but I got distracted from finishing this post because I kept replaying the Fringe intro! So, let’s get to it – how I fell in love with Fringe. Tonight’s episode had significant flashback segments to 1985. As such, they created a 1980′s version of the Fringe intro you see above , along with a nifty electronica styled rendition of the theme song. Once I find it online somewhere, I will update this blog post. In the meantime you can watch it here: http://www.bluexeal.com/2010/04/watch-fringe-season-2-episode-16-peter.html (there is a brief intro, but I’m sure you wouldn’t mind sitting through it since it’s extremely interesting!) If you don’t care for the link, I posted the screen shot below! On the left is the current intro sequence and on the right is the 1980′s themed one. I love how things like personal computing, cloning, laser surgery, and virtual reality were fringe science topics in the 80′s-inspired intro! When will the day come when things like teleportation, psychokinesis, suspended animation become a part of our lives! Love!
EDIT:
Here is the 1980′s themed opening sequence for Fringe!
